Mini kimono

I received questions about kimono for small felt doll.

So I show how to make.
Pattern is on this page (I improved it a little).

Cutting.
Kimono parts

Sew up the middle of the back from inside.
Sew the back

Sew sleeve (A to B) from outside. I used blanket stitch.
Sew the side (D to E).
Unsew B to C to D.
Sew the sleeve
If you make boy's kimono, sew B to C and C to D. It is a rule. You may ignore.

Sew the collar to the bodice. Overlap 1 or 2 millimetres.

Obi is 1.5 × 32 centimetres. You may use a ribbon.

Origami rose

This is famous Kawasaki Rose designed by Dr. Toshikazu Kawasaki.

A flower is made with a square sheet of paper without cutting.

These are Fukuyama Rose.
It is easier than Kawasaki Rose but still difficult.

This is a Rosebud Cube designed by Mr. Kunihiko Kasahara.

Zebra

Hand-painted zebra. 7 centimetres.
Stuffed zebra

Refer to elephant about sewing.
Parts

Ears, tail, hoofs and mane.
Ears and so on
Glue 2 sheets of felt and cut out a circle. This is a hoof.
Ears are almost the same as hamster's.
Wind a white thread (double) on the upper of a bunch of black threads. It's a tail.
The mane is black and white threads (see pattern image).

Sew the neck and the mane.

Sew beads as eyes.
Glue hoofs to the legs after stuffing.
Glue the hoof

I use oily felt-tip pen and dye pen for painting.
Paint zebra

Attach the tail and the ears.
