I just saw someone on etsy.com selling the pattern for your mini Santa and Reindeer. Here is the link to the shop:
www.etsy.com/view_listing.php?listing_id=34910352
The seller's name is fairyfox.
I just thought you should know, because it is not fair that someone should ask money for something that you have been generous enough to give away for free.
I saw that page and I too think it is unfair.
But this case may be one of many.
Anyone can sell things picked up on the web. It is easy.
But it will bring him into disrepute.
I expect social conscience correct and punish sly people.
My mini Santa is here.
Mini Santa of felt.

You should talk to Etsy about that.
This is not right that somebody is stealing your ideas and makes money with it - and she is even claiming it was all her idea with her copyright.
I think it is unfair.
Someone reported the other person. I hope they have to take that off the site. It is your pattern and you gave it for free - it is not right that this person is selling your idea as their own.
Hello! I found out about your blog thru oneprettything and while discovering it I was greatly disturbed by this post! I strongly believe that these people should be publicly reproached and fined! But as you concluded copycats have always be present and we should pity them as the ones void of any imagination, inspiration and lack of fantasy to actually make something themselves!
I think you should be proud with the gift you have and the generosity you possess to share it with us!
But is it OK if I make something from a pattern and then sell the item I made? Should I add a link to your blog?
It happens with cross-stitch patterns too. I've know of several cross-stitch designers who've gone through many legal battles over this type of thing. And it can be hard since the copyrite can read differently in another country. But you should have a talk with Etsy and see what they have to say. I don't know much about the site, but I can't see them accepting this type of behavior.
