Cat scarf

Why not wrap your neck in a long-bodied cat?

Soft and thick fabric is good.
This is 160 centimeter length.
You will make one in any length.

Embroider the eyes, nose and whiskers.


Sew up except the opening. (Head 5 centimeters and body 10 cm.)


Turn inside out.
Close the opening with ladder stitch.
Stitch the toe with woolen yarn.


The tail is a circle of 12 cm dia.

Pull the thread.


Sew the tail and head to the body.
Sew 1 cm inside from the face line.


This is white and black cat.
The eyes and nose are applique of felt.


Attach Velcro to a short scarf.

Pincushion clings

This is just a simple pincushion.


But it has a sucking-disc.


So it is attachable on a sewing machine.


Materials are cloth, felt, paper, sucking-disc and filling.

Simple and easy making.



Cutting. Seam allowance is not necessary.


Stitch the eye and the ear (on one side or both sides).


Sew around from outside.

Sew around. Sew a short cord at the top.


Put fiberfill in it.
Stitch the neck.


Embroider the nose on the muzzle.
Glue the muzzle to the face.

How to make big polar bear and baby bear.

Mini polar bear

Polar bear of felt.
7.5 centimeters in height.


Pattern.


Seam allowance is 3 millimeters.
But ears don't need seam allowance.
If you would make ears strong, paste up 2 pieces.


Insert the ear in the dart of the head and sew together (k-l-m).
Sew another dart (b-c).


Sew the back with back-stitch (a-n-k-j and i-h). Don't sew the opening (j-h).
When sewing the top, you may insert a short cord.


Sew the middle of the belly (o-p).


Sew the belly to the body.


Turn inside out.
Stuff polyester fiberfill in it.
Close the opening with ladder stitch.


Stitch beads.
Embroider the nose and the mouth.


Color the muzzle with eyeshadow or pastel.


Stuffed polar bears (Mother bear and cubs).



Addition:
I used backstitch mainly.

Rotkäppchen

The last necessary thing for her is a cap.


Cut felt cloth. Seam allowances is 5 millimeters. But the hem doesn't need margin.


Sew the hood. Make gathers the bottom of the hood. Sew it to the cape.


Attach ribbons. Stitch lace or frill if you like.


And she becomes Little Red Riding Hood.




When using ordinary cloth, add margin and facing.
