Baby shoes

Felt shoes for babies. 10 centimeters. Using indoor.

I used rather thin felt. But thick felt is good for shoes.

Cutting. The pattern includes seam allowance.
Cut felt

Stitch the hem of the upper, ears and folded tab.
Stitch hem

Sew the ear to the upper. Fold it and fix the top of ear with one or two stitches.
Attach beads for eyes. You can embroider the eyes.
Embroider the nose and mouth.
Make face

Sew up the back.
Sew heel

Sew the tab to the back.
Tab

Sew up the upper and sole.
Sew sole

Shoe with puppy face

This doll is 62cm in height.
Baby in shoes

Cat version.
Cat shoe

Applique the eyes and inside ears.
Cat face

I sewn the sole with zigzag stitches. It's speedy.

    How about supportive shoes for kids when they start walking? How about heel support, orthopedic arch, ankle support to give them stability and best foot development. Soft shoes would not do that. When child stands up and learn how to walk the whole weight of their body goes to their feet so shoes have to be ankle supportive with good stable heel, good arch and soft soles.
