Ferret

Stuffed ferret, 25 centimetre length and 13 cm height.
Furry coat of creme and chocolate, with felt nails.

This is a trial-made ferret.
I think the face and body should be longer.
But the shorter is pretty.

I haven't seen a genuine ferret. But I've seen a lot of books about ferrets.
Generally, a ferret's face seems to be round at the front, and sharp in the profile.

  7. This is very good. I have three ferrets and would love to make this myself. There are never enough well made patterns or stuffed animals that actually look like ferrets.

  8. I love your ferret. Is there a pattern? I have a friend who gave me her ferret and I'd like to make her a doll ferret to take its place.

  16. This ferret ist cute!

The Face is okay. The Neck should be a little bit longer, also the body. Neck ca.0,5 - 1cm The body only 1 -2cm then it is perfect!

  17. That is the most incredible piece of soft sculpture!!

The face is perfect! So is the body. Ferrets come in all sizes and shapes, much like we humans.

In fact, if you made one with shorter fur, and solid, say like black, with a patch of white on the chin, you would have a ranch mink. Much like my pet mink Trouble.

What would you charge? Those ferret sculptures would sell like hot cakes at shows.

  23. Looking at this little ferret's face makes me cry so much!
He resembles my little one, that passed away over a year ago. Your ferret- his expression and those little eyes- So much like my Puggy.

THANK YOU so much for posting the pattern! I'm hoping to make recreations of my ferret babies - Pug, who was mentioned before, and Pogo- who is still a lil' stinker despite being 8 years of age. ^_^

Thank you again for posting the pattern. You've made me, and many others, very happy!

  26. I have a ferret, and this is very good! Since you're not familiar with ferrets, and if you're looking to make them more accurate, I would say that the color pattern isn't what you'd normally find, and the face is longer in profile.
But anyway, this ferret is SO COOL, please post a pattern!
